A Note to Our U.S. Customers

We have an important update regarding shipments from Canada to the United States.

Due to newly imposed U.S. tariffs as of August 22, 2026 and increased cross-border costs on Canadian goods entering the United States, it has become significantly more expensive for us to ship your orders across the border.

We are now seeing approximately $20–$30 in additional costs per package as our shipments enter the U.S.

As a small Canadian business, this is a substantial increase. While we will continue to absorb a portion of these additional costs ourselves, unfortunately, we cannot absorb the full amount and continue shipping to our U.S. customers.

Temporary Changes to U.S. Shipping

Effective immediately:

$20.00 → $29.99

Free U.S. Shipping
Previously available on orders of $150+ → Now available on orders of $175+

Our product prices are not increasing.

We want to be completely transparent about that.

This adjustment is specifically intended to help offset the additional tarriff costs associated with getting our Canadian-shipped products across the U.S. border. We have chosen to increase our flat shipping rate by only $9.99, despite seeing approximately $20–$30 in additional costs per package.

Summit Sourdough will continue absorbing a portion of those additional costs.

These Changes Are Temporary

We value our U.S. customers enormously and will continue looking for the most economical and reliable ways to get your orders from our little corner of Canada to your kitchen.

Most importantly, if these additional tariff-related costs are reduced or removed, we will reduce our U.S. shipping charges accordingly.

We don't intend for a temporary increase in the cost of crossing the border to become a permanent increase in what our customers pay.
