This custom Wire Monkey Poco bread lame has the Summit Sourdough logo etched into it.  The Poco is the smallest straight-blade lame in the world! It's made of American Black Walnut and is meant for diehard blade holders.  So,  Wire Monkey took it as a personal challenge to go even smaller: maintaining their design philosophy of no knobs, beautiful aesthetics, no plastics, simple. You keep your thumb on the blade while scoring, intimate, but it's much safer than handling a bare blade. And when you're done, just tuck the blade inside for safe keeping.

All Pocos are made in Wire Monkey's family owned small shop in Fairfield, Connecticut USA.  They believe in fair wages, using no plastics or harsh chemicals and giving back to the baking community.

No chemicals are used to treat the lames, instead, they are soaked in fractionated coconut oil prior to packaging, to prevent them from drying out. Oil seepage onto the packaging may occur, and is normal.

Materials: The Poco Lame is made of solid American black walnut and stainless steel hardware.  The newly updated design only consists of 1 recessed ball bearing instead of 2.

Includes:  1 blade.   Optional add on for a box of 5 blades, sold separately.

Dimensions: 45 mm by 27 mm, 4 mm thick.

Warning:  Razor blades are extremely share, please be careful when handling.  Keep out of children's reach.
